TREE REMOVAL

Traverso Tree Service

Almost everyone knows that trees and other living plants are valuable.

They beautify our surroundings, purify our air, act as sound barriers, manufacture precious oxygen, and help us save energy through their cooling shade in summer and their wind reduction in winter. It is Traverso Tree Services goal to preserve and protect the trees surrounding us. Unfortunately, there are some times when a tree has to be removed. Here are several reasons for removing a tree

• Disease or pest infestation: Some pests and disease can be abated, but there are times when the infection is too widely spread to salvage the tree or its health has been significantly compromised with no hope of recovery.
• Significant limb or tree top failure: Some trees can survive a large limb or top failure but sometimes the failure compromises the overall structure or heath of the tree.
• Proximity to home and other hardscape: Often young trees are planted too close to the home, sidewalk, or other hardscape with no thought to the future size of the tree. In some instances it is possible to trim or root prune a tree to limit the intrusion. Unfortunately it is not always possible to trim the offending tree without significantly compromising its health and / or structure.
• Crowding of nicer trees.
• View issues

Removing a tree is a delicate operation and requires skill, precision and the right equipment. Depending on the location of your tree we may use a bucket tuck or crane to assist in the removal. Depending on the landscape and hardscape below your tree the limbs will be lowered down with ropes and pulleys to insure no damage is done to landscape and hardscape below. The video above is an example a crane removal with a tree located on a fairly open lot. Not all trees are located in an area that can be accessed by this equipment. When a tree is not accessible by trucks and cranes our crew is trained to use ropes and saddle to climb into the tree and trim it from within the canopy. Again, ropes and pulleys are used to prevent damage to the landscape and hardscape below the tree.
